The Waybacks

Benefit concert in Wichita for the Planeview Community Library.Wednesday, November 16th at the Louise C. Murdock Theatre, 536 N. Broadway. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with local group Pop & The Boys starting the show at 7:00 PM. Advance tickets are $15.00 general admission, and are available at The Spice Merchant, Hatman Jack’s Wichita Hat Works, The Bicycle Pedaler, Senseney Music, Jim Starkey Music Center, and Colvin Elementary School. online tickets ordering. at www.festivalgypsy.com. All money raised from The Waybacks concert will go to the library to be used solely for the purchase of books.

The Waybacks are a nationally acclaimed “Newgrass” band from San Francisco. They played at the 2005 and 2004 Walnut Valley Festival, as well as Prairie Fest in 2003. They have also toured throughout the USA and Australia. Their unique blend of blues, bluegrass, country, and jam music has caught the attention of rock icons including former Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir. Weir recently announced the Waybacks will be part of his first performance at the prestigious Merlegrass Festival. For more info please visit: www.waybacks.com
